This event marks the opening of the 12th Steinway China Youth Piano Competition and the 89th Steinway International Youth Piano Competition for the Hong Kong and Macau region. Lea Chan, representing the Steinway Piano Competition, explained the rules and regulations for this year's piano competition. We were also honored to invite  Prof. Eleanor Wong & Prof. Gabriel Kwok to share their students' competition experiences, mindset preparation, and practice insights. Additionally, the Outstanding Educator Award was presented to recognize the efforts and support of educators and teachers from the previous competition. The event concluded with a performance by Alexander Han Zong You, a winner of the Steinway International Youth Piano Competition, who played the piano using the Steinway Spirio, bringing a perfect end to the launch ceremony.
